Good morning all! π§π»ββοΈ
What a weekend, happy and sad at the same time: Italy winning the cup, with unintended consequences like the increase in domestic violence reported in England. Many women find refuge in learning and through an almost limitless amount of grit and commitment, they get a degree and build a better and more independent life for themselves. I want to take a moment to celebrate this! π
π©π»βπ«Exciting tools to support your learning:
Writefull released an automated proofreading plugin for your academic writing: Writefull Full Edit. Itβs between grammarly and a human science editor, because, of course, it uses AI. I installed it and will be testing it on my next whitepaper! Writefull is part of the Digital Science portfolio.
Hypernotes from Zenkit has been out for a couple of months now, but I managed to find the time to fully test it this weekend. And oh yes, I am loving the whole note-building capabilities and the network map. Iβve seen many comparing it with Obsidian, RoamResearch, and RemNote.
Mmhmm is pretty cool. Launched just last year with the zooming hype, mmhmm lets you personalize your presentations with different backgrounds andβ¦ any effect you think of, they got it! It raised $100 mil (π€¦ββοΈ) to build their standalone product.
